A Personal Journey From Patient to Advocate

This personal project is more than just a blog—it's a space for insight, encouragement, and community. I created it to share what I’ve learned through years of surgeries and recoveries, and to offer practical advice for those who find themselves where I once was: scared, uncertain, and searching for answers.

Whether you're waiting for surgery, recovering from it, or living with the everyday reality of chronic hip pain, this platform is here for you. I’ll be sharing everything from how to mentally prepare for joint replacement, to what recovery actually looks like once the hospital stay ends. I want readers—especially younger patients—to feel empowered with information that’s often reserved for older adults.

Because knowledge shouldn’t be defined by age. It should be defined by need.

This is my way of turning pain into purpose, of giving others what I wish I had when I first walked into a GP’s office with unexplained hip pain. If you’re here, know that you’re not alone—and if you’re willing to walk this road, I’ll be right beside you with every step.
